1. About These Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Weaver's Story / WSNZ website, online store, accounts, interactive experiences, content and related services.
By accessing or using Weaver's Story, you agree to these Terms.
If you purchase products from us, these Terms apply together with our Shipping Policy, Returns & Refunds Policy and Privacy Policy.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under New Zealand law.
2. Weaver's Story
Weaver's Story is an original fictional universe incorporating stories, characters, Kingdoms, factions, locations, artwork, publications, merchandise and interactive experiences.
The website may include features such as Kingdom assessments, Explorer Journals, the Discovery Archive, Explorer's Log, progression systems and other interactive or world-building experiences.
These features may be changed, expanded or updated as Weaver's Story develops.
3. Accounts
Where account functionality is provided, you are responsible for providing accurate information, maintaining the confidentiality of your login details, keeping your information reasonably current, and activity undertaken through your account.
You must not access another person's account without permission or attempt to bypass website security.
4. Interactive Experiences
Certain Weaver's Story features may record or display information such as Kingdom assessment results, Explorer Journal activity, discoveries, completion progress, Explorer's Log information, rankings, and other interactive activity.
Participation in these systems does not give you ownership of the underlying Weaver's Story characters, artwork, stories, Kingdoms, factions or other intellectual property.
We may modify the mechanics, requirements, presentation or availability of interactive features as Weaver's Story develops.
5. Kingdom Assessment
The Find Your Kingdom assessment is an entertainment and fictional world-building experience.
Its results are intended to associate visitors with a Kingdom within Weaver's Story.
The assessment is not a psychological, medical, diagnostic, scientific or professional assessment and should not be relied upon as one.
6. Products
Products available through Weaver's Story may include books, Codices, apparel, accessories, printed products and other merchandise.
Some products are made to order and may be manufactured, printed, packaged and/or fulfilled by third-party production and fulfilment providers on our behalf.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure product descriptions, images, specifications and other information displayed on our website are accurate. Minor variations in colour, placement, dimensions or appearance may occur because of display settings, materials, and manufacturing or printing processes.
7. Orders
Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase the selected products.
After an order is placed, order information may be provided to relevant payment, production, fulfilment and delivery providers as necessary to process and complete your order.
An order may be refused or cancelled where reasonably necessary, including where a product is unavailable, there is a genuine pricing or listing error, payment cannot be authorised, information required to fulfil the order is incomplete or incorrect, fraud or misuse is reasonably suspected, or production or fulfilment is not reasonably possible.
If we cancel an order after payment has been received, the applicable amount will be refunded.
8. Third-Party Production and Fulfilment
Weaver's Story uses third-party providers to manufacture, print, package and/or fulfil certain products sold through our website.
As a result, products within the same order may be produced or dispatched separately, may originate from different fulfilment locations, and may arrive in separate packages or at different times.
Production and fulfilment times may vary depending on the product, destination, availability and other circumstances.
The use of a third-party production or fulfilment provider does not remove any rights or remedies you may have against Weaver's Story under applicable New Zealand consumer law.
9. Made-to-Order Products
Some Weaver's Story products may be produced specifically after an order is placed.
Because production may begin shortly after an order is submitted, it may not always be possible to change or cancel an order once it has entered production.
This does not limit any rights or remedies available where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied, do not match their description, or otherwise fail to meet guarantees required by applicable consumer law.
10. Pricing and Payment
Prices are displayed in the currency indicated on the website.
Shipping charges and other applicable costs will be displayed or calculated during checkout where practicable.
International customers may be responsible for customs duties, import taxes or other charges imposed by authorities in the destination country.
Payment must be successfully authorised before an order can be processed.
11. Shipping and Delivery
Shipping and delivery are governed by our Shipping Policy.
Because some products are produced and fulfilled by third-party providers, estimated delivery times may include both production and shipping time.
Orders containing multiple products may be delivered separately.
Delivery dates and timeframes displayed on the website are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise. Delays may occur because of production, carriers, customs, weather, destination conditions or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in this section limits rights available under applicable consumer law.
12. Returns and Refunds
Returns, refunds, replacements and other remedies are governed by our Returns & Refunds Policy and applicable consumer law.
Some products may be made to order. A change-of-mind return may therefore not always be available unless expressly offered by Weaver's Story.
This does not affect your rights where a product is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied, does not match its description or otherwise fails to comply with applicable consumer guarantees.
Nothing in these Terms or our other policies limits rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, Fair Trading Act 1986 or other applicable New Zealand legislation.
13. Prohibited Conduct
You must not interfere with the operation or security of the website; attempt unauthorised access to accounts or systems; deliberately manipulate progression or discovery systems using unauthorised technical methods; introduce malicious software or code; use the website to commit fraud or unlawful activity; infringe intellectual-property rights; systematically extract or scrape protected website content without authorisation where prohibited by law; or use Weaver's Story in violation of applicable law.
14. Third-Party Services
We may rely on third-party services to provide payment processing, delivery, hosting, analytics, communications and other website functionality.
Those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy practices.
We are not responsible for independent third-party services except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
15. Website Availability
We aim to keep Weaver's Story available and operating correctly but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.
Maintenance, updates, technical issues or circumstances outside our reasonable control may temporarily affect website availability.
16. Changes to Weaver's Story
Weaver's Story is an evolving project.
We may add, remove, modify or redesign website content, features, interactive systems and services.
Where reasonably practicable, we will seek to avoid unnecessary loss of stored user progress when making significant technical changes.
17. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies available under applicable New Zealand consumer law.
18. Suspension or Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to an account where reasonably necessary because of serious or repeated breaches of these Terms, fraud, unlawful activity, security threats, or deliberate interference with Weaver's Story systems.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to Weaver's Story, our services, business practices or legal requirements.
The current version will be published on the website together with the date it was last updated.
20. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
Nothing in this provision prevents a consumer from exercising mandatory legal rights available to them.
